Two golf courses and an Algarve agency won awards at the 8th edition of the World Golf Awards, whose awards were presented last Thursday, October 28th, in Dubai.
Quinta do Lago's Sul golf course won the category of Best Golf Course in Portugal, while the Hilton Vilamoura “As Cascatas” was elected the best golf hotel in Portugal.
As regards Tee Times agency, based in the Algarve, won in the category of best operator inbound the country.
The World Golf Awards also awarded Portugal as the best golf destination in Europe.
This has been one of the sectors that has contributed the most to the return of tourism to the Algarve, after the worst phases of the pandemic.
