“Via Algarviana – A Praise to Nature: Traditional Crafts” is shown at the Interpretation Center of Vila do Bispo

Exhibition brings together pieces and elements identifying the arts and crafts of the low-density territories of Vila do Bispo, Monchique, Castro Marim, Aljezur and Alcoutim

From September 27 to October 27, the Vila do Bispo Interpretation Center hosts the thematic exhibition “Via Algarviana – A Praise for Nature: Traditional Crafts”.

This exhibition brings together pieces and elements identifying the arts and crafts of the low-density territories of Vila do Bispo, Monchique, Castro Marim, Aljezur and Alcoutim, thus contributing to the knowledge and interpretation of a unique heritage present in these municipalities.

Each panel presents each of the five municipalities. On each panel, a description and an illustrative object of the craft/technique associated with the site is posted, as well as an illustration of the routes along the Via Algarviana in the municipality. The first panel is an introduction to the exhibition.

This is an itinerant exhibition held within the scope of the “Via Algarviana – A Praise for Nature” project, promoted by Associação Almargem.

The exhibition, which has the support of the Vila do Bispo City Council, can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 16:30 pm.
