The public presentation of the book that brings together the texts of the communications of the colloquium held in 2018, commemorating the 245 years of creation of the municipality of Lagoa, under the theme “Lagoa, Local Power and Municipalism: 245 years of creation of the municipality of Lagoa (1773- 2018)”, will take place on 7 September, in the context of the celebrations of the Municipal Holiday of Lagoa, which is marked the following day.
The presentation will be in charge of António Ventura, full professor at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon.
The event, which will take place in the auditorium of the Centro Cultural Convento de S. José, in Lagoa, will also feature a lecture given by António Ventura, entitled «Sources for the history of Freemasonry in the Algarve».
Access is free, but subject to seating capacity.
