More than 20 sculptures by Carlos de Oliveira Correia are distributed throughout the parishes of Albufeira and Olhos de Água, in places such as Olhos de Água beach, Parque da Alfarrobeira, the old center of Albufeira, or Rossio.
In each of the sculptures, whose themes involve raising awareness of environmental protection, practicing sports, promoting health and well-being, there is a QRcode that allows access to the artist's complete exhibition script via mobile phone.
Carlos de Oliveira Correia is the author of several outstanding works throughout the Algarve, such as “Cavaleiro da Ordem”, “Caçador” (Castro Marim), “O Pescador” (Albufeira), and abroad, such as “Mulher eo o Thinker” (Belgium), “Guerand le Paludier (France) and “Torso” (Netherlands).
This is an initiative of the Parish Council of Albufeira and Olhos de Água.
