Infralobo's headquarters building acquired the A+ rating, in terms of energy efficiency, announced this Friday, 3 September, the Loulé municipal company, responsible for infrastructure in Vale de Lobo.
«After getting your Energy Management System (SGE) certification, by SGS Portugal, in July 2021, having been only the 25th Management System certified in Portugal and only the 2nd in the Algarve, Infralobo certifies its Head Office Building with the A+ classification, the most efficient classification, being another objective that fits into the combat strategy to climate change in the Municipality of Loulé», highlights Infralobo.
In the three performance indicators evaluated (Ambient Heating, Ambient Cooling and Lighting), the Infralobo Headquarters Building
«has been shown to be 100% more efficient than the required national reference, with renewable energy contributing 90% in consumption through
installed photovoltaic panels».
According to a source from the company, «the achievement of this objective was only possible thanks to the investments made under the Plan of
Infralobo 2021 Decarbonization, approved at the beginning of the year and which lists a series of concrete measures in its daily activity and in the
Investment Plan with a view to reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions into the atmosphere, increasing the use of sources of
clean energy".
