Algarve clubs already know who they will play in the Portuguese Cup

The games for this tie are scheduled for 25 September

The six Algarve clubs that are still in the Portuguese Cup of football met, this Wednesday, 15 September, their opponents in the 2nd round. Ferreiras' reception to Estrela da Amadora, Farense's trip to the Azores or the Louletano-Salgueiros game are some of the highlights. 

In total there will be four games in the Algarve.

Ferreiras (Championship of Portugal) will host the Estrela da Amadora, from the II Liga, a team that has already won the Portuguese Cup – curiously against Farense in 1990.

Imortal de Albufeira (CP) will play, at home, against Vilafranquense, who are also active in the II League.

Louletano (CP), in turn, will host the game with Salgueiros (CP), another historic team in Portuguese football.

The last game in the Algarve is Olhanense (CP) – Santa Cruz Alvarenga (CP).

As for Farense (II Liga), they will have a long trip to the Azores to play against São Roque (District).

Finally, Esperança de Lagos (Championship of Portugal) will play at Condeixa (Championship of Portugal).

The games in this tie are scheduled for 25 September.
