Beja cancels “Heritages of the South” fair

Cancellation is due to the "high incidence" in the municipality of cases of infection by the new coronavirus

The Chamber of Beja canceled this year's edition of the Patrimónios do Sul fair, which usually takes place in October, due to the "high incidence" in the municipality of cases of infection by the virus that causes the Covid-19 disease.

According to the municipality, the cancellation is also due to the fact that the Pavilion of Flavors of the Parque de Feiras e Exposições de Beja, where the fair takes place, is being used as a vaccination center against Covid-19.

Patrimónios do Sul, which was also canceled last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, had included in 2019, in its second and most recent edition, the fairs Vinipax, Beja Brava and Canibeja, the Caça e Pesca show, the exhibition Avibeja birds, various spaces and musical shows.
