Event will be financed by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve.

The Rogil Documentary and Film Festival will take place on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of September, in the auditorium of Rancho rogilense, in Aljezur, in an event financed by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve.

The curatorship and selection of the films is in charge of the visual anthropologist Vera Abreu and the artist/art animator Albina Petrolati, taking into account «”A look at inclusion, human rights and life stories” that intersect in the southwest of Alentejo and Algarve» , says the Amador do Rogil Folklore Recreative Group in a note sent to the newsrooms.

The films presented at this festival will address «current themes and issues that express and give visibility to inclusive practices and the feelings of a society that reproduces and reinvents itself daily in a changing world», explains the organization.
