Renato Silva from Team BMX de Quarteira is the new leader of the Portuguese Cup

Runner from the Algarve team triumphed in this Saturday's journey, which catapulted him to the top of the general standings

Renato Silva, from the Team BMX Quarteira team, still of cadet age, is the new commander of the Portuguese BMX Cup, after rounds 3 and 4 of the competition, this weekend, in Setúbal.

 The Algarvian training runner triumphed in this Saturday, July 31st, reaching a result that catapulted him to the top of the overall standings, although in this Sunday's race he did not get better than seventh, in a race won by Spaniard Alejandro Kim ( Yellow Mad BMX).

When four of the eight stages of the Portuguese Cup are played, the elite classification registers a great balance.

Renato Silva has 43 points, two more than Jaime Airosa and seven more than Miguel Gaboleiro, both from the BMX Águias de S. Gabriel Best Point team.

The collective general of the Taça de Portugal witnesses a race between Clube Bicross de Portimão, which totals 84 points, and Núcleo Bicross de Setúbal/Knowlwdge Inside, which registers a delay of eight points.
