The magician duo Arkadio & Solange, as well as José de Lemos, Salguery, the Argentine Mr. Daba, Manuel Barata and the Lagoon Paulo Cabrita make up the poster for the 1st edition of the Lagoa International Festival of Magic, which will take place on the 3rd and September 4th. The artistic direction is in charge of the magician Paulo Cabrita.
As part of the Municipality's initiative to support local artists, “Culture goes out to the street”, the Lagoa Magic Fest 2021 will take place in the municipality for two days, one of them dedicated to street magic, with shows in six locations in the municipality.
The street shows, scheduled for September 3, start in Porches (Church of the Church), in Estômbar (Garden) and Parchal (Rua do Município/ Largo da Che Lagoense), at 11:00 am. In the afternoon, at 18 pm, street shows are scheduled at Praia do Carvoeiro (Largo da Praia), Lagoa (Jardim 00 de Outubro) and Ferragudo (Largo Rainha D. Leonor). These street magic shows are free and will take place in conditions suitable for the pandemic moment.
On the 4th, the grand Gala Night will take place at the Carlos do Carmo Municipal Auditorium, tickets are already on sale through the ticketline, at Worten, at Fnac, and at the Convento de S. José, in Lagoa and at the Balcão Único of the Municipality of Lagoa, at 8 euros each.
