Lagoa Wine Experiences 2021 will hold another session on August 21st (Saturday), between 10:30 and 18:00, with a visit to Quinta da Palmeirinha, lunch at Monte de Salicos and a visit to the winery and vineyards of Arvard Wine.
The meeting point for the session will be at 10:30 am at the Municipal Swimming Pools, and the visit begins at Quinta da Palmeirinha (Quinta da Penina), property where the Adega Cooperativa de Lagoa was founded and where its first wines were vinified.
In this property you can discover «the oldest vineyard of the Negra Mole variety in the region, dating back to 1942», says the Lagoa City Council.
A welcome drink and lunch at Monte de Salicos – MDS Vinhos, «a family wine estate very close to Carvoeiro and exposure to the sea breeze, a connection that will be present in the menu and in the wines that will be served during the meal».
In the afternoon, a visit will be made to Arvad Wine, the most recent producer in the Algarve, where «the history of the Phoenician origin of wine production in Portugal is well preserved in a property that opened its doors to wine tourism a few days ago, an interesting one novelty that coincides in a session with the harvest period», adds the municipality.
