Infraquinta acquired two more 100% electric vehicles, which reinforce a fleet that recently obtained the MOVE+ Energy Certification.
“MOVE+ is a system for evaluating and classifying the energy performance of car fleets, created by ADENE (Agency for Energy) to promote efficient mobility”, according to the municipal company from Loulé.
"In addition to classifying the fleet, MOVE+ also allows identifying opportunities to save fuel (cost reduction) and minimize the environmental impact through optimized fleet management", he added.
The acquisition of the two new vehicles, which now integrates a fleet of around 25% of electric vehicles, and the certification aim to «promote the decarbonisation of the activity» of Infraquinta and are part of a strategy «to reduce gas emissions with effect greenhouse gases and increase energy efficiency'.
