The short film 'Check-In', by Guilherme Bosco and Samuel Guerreiro, students of the Animated Image course, at the School of Education and Communication (ESEC), of the University of Algarve, received the award for Best Portuguese Short at the Festival Monstra – Lisbon Animation Festival.
The work, carried out within the scope of the project curricular unit and curricular internship, under the supervision of Professor Marina Estela Graça, was distinguished by the Junior Jury in the 'Students' competition.
This short film had previously been selected for the 2020 edition of CINANIMA – Espinho International Animation Film Festival, in the 'Jovem Cinesta Português' competition.
