the lists of Movimento Independente Por Albufeira, headed by Desidério Silva, to run for the Municipal Elections of 26 September, were approved, this Wednesday, August 10, by the Court.
On 26 July, «about 6000 signatures, collected in all the parishes of the county» were handed over, bringing together a total of 141 candidates.
«Of these 141 candidates, for all municipal bodies in the municipality, we are proud to have 72 women and 69 men. We also have 25 candidates up to 30 years old, 34 candidates between 30 and 40 years old, 38 candidates between 40 and 50 years old, 24 candidates between 50 and 60 years old, and finally, 20 candidates of age over 60 years old», says the Movimento Independente por Albufeira.
The presentation of the candidate teams for the City Council and the Municipal Assembly of the Por Albufeira movement will take place tomorrow, August 12, at 18 pm, outside Parque P30, located near Pau da Bandeira (Praia dos Pescadores – Albufeira) and is open to the general population.
