UAlg opens applications for Higher Professional Technical Courses

University will organize two clarification webinars on access to CTeSP

The University of Algarve (UAlg) will open the first phase of applications for the Higher Professional Technical Courses (CTeSP), from 26 July to 22 August, for the academic year 2021/2022.

UAlg also reinforces its training offer with the opening of new courses Design and Multimedia Technologies, Digital Marketing and the recently launched CTeSP in Informatics Technologies.

Future students of this educational establishment will be able to attend a cycle of studies that awards a professional higher technical diploma at level 5, in the National Qualifications Framework, in one of the 13 courses in the areas of Arts, Communication and Heritage and Economics, Management and Tourism and Engineering and Technologies.

The CTeSP last for two academic years and consist of a component of general and scientific training and a component of technical and on-the-job training, which will culminate in an internship.

Holders of this diploma may, in the future, obtain the respective academic degree, by enrolling in one of UAlg's undergraduate courses, made possible by entry through a special competition for this purpose.

The second application phase will take place between September 21st and 27th.

The CTeSP are intended for holders of a secondary education course or legally equivalent qualification (for example: professional or technological course), holders of a technological specialization diploma, professional higher technical diploma or a higher education degree, and candidates who obtain approval through the “Over 23 years old”.

The University of Algarve will also organize, through the Zoom platform, on the next 15th and 22nd of July, two webinars clarification on “Access to Superior Professional Technical Courses (CTeSP)”, to publicize these UAlg courses for the next academic year.
