This Saturday, Portimonense Basketball won its first national title, by beating Galitos in the final of the 1st National Division by 62-71, which was played in Barreiro.
Last week, the senior men's team from Portimonense had already signed up to Proliga, the second tier of Portuguese basketball, where it will meet with another team from the Algarve, the Ginásio Olhanense.
In a note published on the website, Portimonense congratulates the team «for «the delivery and fighting spirit in defending our emblem, another beautiful page of the club's history was written today».
