“Cinema Nights (COM) Vida” in the most isolated locations of Castro Marim

The initiative will cover Odeleite, Azinhal, Corte Gago, Corte Pequena, Furnazinhas, Castro Marim and Monte Francisco

Castro Marim will take the seventh art to the most isolated locations in the county through “Cinema Nights (COM) Vida”, from 2 August to 9 September.

There will be seven outdoor sessions that promise to animate and thrill the population, in an initiative organized by the municipality of Castro Marim, with the strategic partnership of the CLDS 4G project at Odiana.

The project “Castro Marim (COM) Vida” continues “to fight geographic isolation with various dynamics, this time taking the big screen to the mountainous localities of the county”, says the press release sent to the newsrooms.

The sessions will start at 21:15 pm and, during August and September, will tour the localities of Odeleite, Azinhal, Corte Gago, Corte Pequena, Furnazinhas, Castro Marim and Monte Francisco.

As for the films to be shown, these «promise to cheer up the population, who have an opportunity to revisit the times of cinema and see two exciting productions», being them “O Garoto de Charlot” and “Amigos Improváveis”.

Admission to the sessions will be free, seats are seated with limited capacity to the existing space and with respect for pandemic rules, with the use of masks being mandatory.

The promotion of the sessions is the responsibility of CinemaLua, namely in the 3rd edition of the Bons Filmes de Semper program, an itinerant cinema project.

This initiative is part of activity seven «Senior Informed and Safe», of the CLDS 4G project «Castro Marim (COM)Vida», promoted by the municipality of Castro Marim, coordinated by the Odiana association, co-financed by CRESC Algarve 2020, Portugal 2020 and European Union, through the European Social Fund.
