The contract awarding the contract for placing separators and vertical signage on the Avenida Calouste Gulbenkian bike path was signed this Friday, the 9th.
The work, awarded to Sociedade José de Sousa Barra & Filhos for a global value of 31.650,54 euros, has a deadline of 30 days, announced the Chamber of Faro.
The contract provides for the placement of separation deterrent elements along the road markings, in both directions, and in a position of separation from the line delimiting the road lane and the demarcation of the cycle path.
In addition to these elements, it is also planned to place vertical signs in the areas approaching the cycle path, on converging streets.
"Given that this avenue usually has a large volume of traffic, the Municipality recommends the utmost prudence during the course of works on the road and thanks everyone for their understanding for possible inconveniences", adds the City Council. Faro.
