The children of Alte will learn more about healthy and sustainable eating, through the initiative ​“From Pequenino is chosen the Snack”, which will be promoted on the 27th of July, between 10:00 am and 11:30 am, in this town in the municipality of Loulé.

On that day, "practical activities will be carried out to demonstrate the various tools and techniques of nutritional education that can help children and their families to make informed dietary decisions", according to the association In Loco, the entity that promotes this action, within the scope of the project. “Right Plate”.

At 11:30 am, the improved and expanded edition of the book “Recipes and Tips for Healthy, Tasty and Economical Eating” will be presented to the community, as well as the renewal of the project platform and the adaptation of the Mobile Food Education Unit (UMEA) to the challenges of adequate food in times of crisis.

"Between pots and forkfuls, Prato Certo aims to educate and train, demonstrating in a practical and simple way how it is possible to make the right choices for a tasty, healthy, economical and sustainable diet, using the principles of the Mediterranean lifestyle", frames the On the spot.

Even because “adequate food is one of the best ways to increase the quality of life of people and communities, particularly in times of health, social and economic crisis like the one we are going through”.
