The municipality of Lagos will present, for this summer, the “Summer Concerts”, a new initiative that will receive HMB, Aurea, Fernando Daniel, Katia Guerreiro and Blaya, during the months of July and August. The municipality is once again organizing the second edition of “Drive In Cinema” and “Lagos Nights Out – Noites no Cais”.

After postponing the “Feira Concurso Arte Doce” and the “Feast of the Bath” to 2022, the municipality will mark the respective dates with concerts by HMB, on 29 July, Aurea (30), Fernando Daniel (31) and from Katia Guerreiro on 1st August, at 21 pm, at Parque de Feiras, next to the Estádio Municipal de Lagos.

Blaya's concert, taking place on the 29th of August, has not yet been defined.

Tickets will have a cost of five euros, and can be purchased at the reception of the Centro Cultural de Lagos or through the ticketline.

In a note sent to newsrooms by the local authority, this is a «proposal for a unique, diversified and adapted cultural program to the reality of the pandemic», which will «invigorate one of the sectors most affected by the pandemic, but also to encourage the population in this such a troubled period».

Most of the initiatives will take place outdoors, and, in the case of shows, the seats will be seated and with due physical distance.

The “Drive In Lagos” will take place between the 17th and 26th of August at the Rossio da Trindade playground.

The films “Bem Bom” will be broadcast on August 17th, “Captain Sabre Teeth and the Magic Diamond”, on the 19th, “Women to Power”, on the 24th, and “Listen”, on the 26th.

Access to this initiative is free, you must bring your own vehicle, and prior mandatory registration is required in a form to be released shortly by the local authority.
