Algarvio José Costa and Jorge Lima pursue a spot in the 49er Medal Race

Dupla is in 10th place, the last one that gives access to the fight for the medals

The Algarve sailor José Costa and Jorge Lima will fight, at 4:00 am, for a place in the 49er “Medal Race”, at the Tokyo Olympic Games.

In the last night, the pair dropped one place, to 10th, after being seventh in the first race of the day and disqualified in the second.

This Friday, the Tavirense José Costa and his colleague Jorge Lima will compete in three more of the 12 races, in Kamakura, chasing a spot in the fight for medals, destined for the top ten classified.
