VRSA receives a ticket for Autárquico Roadshow at the António Aleixo Cultural Center

Initiative includes workshops and lectures to raise awareness and promote innovation and business internationalization

Vila Real de Santo António (VRSA) will host the «Algarve RESTART Innovation – Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation Roadshow» this Wednesday, June 23, at 10:00 am, at the António Aleixo Cultural Centre.

This is the eighth event of a partnership between the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE), the Division of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the University of Algarve (CRIA) and the Business Association of the Algarve Region (NERA) which aims to contribute to the process of economic recovery in the Algarve region.

The initiative includes an open day (morning and afternoon) with workshops and lectures to raise awareness and promote innovation and business internationalization.

There will also be a round table in which it is intended to draw a socio-economic portrait that allows evaluating the impact caused by the pandemic in the municipality of Vila Real de Santo António, as well as identifying strategies to support its economic recovery.

Entries can be made here.

The 16 events of the Autárquico Roadshow are taking place in a hybrid model – in person, for a limited number of participants, and also via online, with live transmission of some moments of the event.

This initiative is going through the various municipalities of the Algarve, throughout the months of May and June, and various activities are being carried out to promote entrepreneurship and support the activity of start-ups and Algarve companies, in partnership with local authorities, in this case with Vila Real de Santo António and also with the Employment and Vocational Training Institute (IEFP), the Support Institute for Small and Medium Enterprises and Innovation (IAPMEI) and the Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR) of the Algarve.

This action is part of the Restart Algarve and Inova Algarve 2.0 projects, co-financed by CRESC Algarve 2020 | Portugal 2020.
