The fourth edition of the Cycle of “Cinema ao Ar Livre” will take place in the various parishes of the municipality of Silves, between June and July, in a partnership between the City Council and the Cineclube de Faro. All sessions are scheduled for 21:30 pm.
The cycle will start on the 14th of June, at the municipal swimming pool square (Silves) with the screening of the film “Zé Pedro Rock N' Roll”.
On the following day, the 15th, at Mini Golf (Armação de Pêra), the film “O Teu Melhor Friend” will take place and, on the 16th, at the Espaço Multiusos in São Marcos da Serra, the “Happiness of Small Things” will be broadcast.
The program continues on June 18, at Parque de Feiras e Exposições (Alcantarilha), with "Listen", on June 19, at Recinto Desportivo de Pêra, with "Notre Dame de París", on June 24, at Sport Algoz and Benfica (Algoz), with “Luta de Mulheres” and, on the 27th, at Largo da Junta de Freguesia de Tunes, with the film “Domingo”.
To complete the cycle of “Cinema ao Ar Livre” the film “Mulheres ao Poder” will be screened on 2 July at the Auditorium of the Parish Council of São Bartolomeu de Messines.
This initiative aims to promote and dynamize a cultural offer suited to the time of the Covid-19 pandemic, taking cinema to all the parishes of Silves.
The sessions will comply with all guidelines of the General Directorate of Health (DGS).
