The MILAGE APRENDER+ project promotes the “Half-Marathon of Mathematics in Portugal”, on the 8th of June, at 11:00 am, at the Monchique Schools Group, to help all students recover their learning, after the exceptional situation they are currently experiencing. school year.

With the new return of distance education, it is now known, according to the study carried out by the Institute for Educational Assessment (IAVE), that in the 6th and 9th grades, less than half of the students showed to have the level of elementary knowledge. expected.

«In this session, “Professora Innovadora de Portugal” will participate, Anabela Andrez, who explores the MILAGE LEARN+ platform with her students so that no one is left behind and everyone learns», says Mauro Figueiredo, creator of the platform and professor at Instituto Superior de Engenharia of the University of the Algarve.

The Mathematics Half Marathon aims to promote innovative pedagogical practices through the MILAGE APRENDER+ app with the participation of all students in the class so that they can be more motivated to learn mathematics and achieve school success.

The MILAGE APRENDER platform has the support of the Directorate-General for Education, the Association of Mathematics Teachers, the Portuguese Society of Mathematics, the Portuguese Teachers Association, the Portuguese Association of English Teachers and the Portuguese Press Association.
