Algarve's CCDR promotes training on land use planning

Gonçalo Reino Pires and Luciano Marcos are the guest speakers

The Algarve's Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR) will promote a training action on territorial planning, addressed to public administration staff and local authorities in the region, on the 25th of June, in the auditorium of this institution.

This first training session dedicated to the legal regime of territorial management instruments, will feature, in the morning, Gonçalo Reino Pires, responsible for the Urban Planning practice area of ​​the Uría Menéndez/Proença de Carvalho law firm, «who will address planning and the classification and reclassification of the soil”, according to the CCDR of the Algarve.

In the afternoon, Luciano Marcos, lawyer and founding partner of FALM – Sociedade de Advogados, will speak “about the detailed plans with registry effects and their relationship with the environmental impact assessment”.

As part of the collaborative work and network support for local authorities developed by CCDR Algarve, this action will be attended by technicians, managers and mayors from the Algarve's municipalities, as well as senior technicians and managers of CCDR Algarve.

This training action, carried out in partnership with the Institute of Legal-Political Sciences of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, is developed within the scope of the “Algarve (in) Forma” project, promoted by CCDR Algarve and co-financed by the Algarve Operational Program – CRESC ALGARVE 2020, which «aimed at the training and training of workers in the Public Administration and foresees about five dozen training actions in the years 2021 and 2022».
