A cycle tour, with about 11 kilometers and «designed for the whole family», takes place this Sunday, June 6, from 9:00 am, in Castro Marim.
With a meeting point at Revelim de St. António, the route then follows the Ciclovia da Lezíria and the Natural Reserve of Sapal de Castro Marim and VRSA, «a space of great connection with nature, where you can observe the countless species of water birds , such as flamingos and long-legs, and even salt production, present throughout the territory, being the main economic activity in this wetland», says the Chamber of Castro Marim.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, registration is always limited and mandatory.
This is an initiative integrated in the “Healthy Routes”, which are the face-to-face actions of the Eurocity of Guadiana sports program and include canoeing, hiking, cycling and outdoor sports sessions for children and adults. Online yoga, pilates, zumba or fitness classes and sessions are also taking place and can be viewed on the EuroGuadiana 2020 project's Facebook and YouTube.
