Portimonense lost 1-0 against Boavista, in a game of the 33rd round of the 15st Football League, played this Saturday, May XNUMX, at Estádio do Bessa, in Porto. The Portimão team has not yet guaranteed maintenance and has not been able to give a help to Farense.

One point was enough for Portimonense to achieve maintenance in the I League, but, ahead, there was a Boavista, who is afflicted, still disputing the permanence with Farense, Rio Ave and Nacional.

The game started broken and with the teams defining badly. In the 22nd minute, Beto had a good opportunity to score, but the shot, in the frontal zone, went wide.

At 34, Angel Gomes, one of Boavista's best players, hit a free-kick well and the ball went to goal, if it weren't for a cut, with Willyan's face.

The draw was enough for the attempts of Portimonense and, in the second half, the Algarve asked for a penalty for hand in the area, after a header by Lucas, but the referee ordered to play.

In the other goal, Pérez (52′) and Mangas (58′) had two chances, with strong shots, which went wide.

Until the opening goal came…and for Boavista. On minute 71, after a corner from the right and Samuel Portugal's exit, Pérez shot and Porozo hit the back of the net. Portimonense still asked for a foul, but the goal was validated.

The Algarvians knew that this result was not enough and had a great chance to equalize after 90 minutes, but Beto did what is not usual for him: failing close to goal, in a great save by Léo Jardim

Portimonense really lost, added the same 34 points, failed to help Farense and postponed the maintenance for the last round, in which they will host Braga.
