Portal Online is Castro Marim's new bet for municipal services

Requests for school transport or the collection of animals are some of the services provided.

The Castro Marim municipality has already launched a new online service portal, where citizens can handle simpler matters quickly and conveniently, without having to travel.

«It is a progressive service, which aims to contribute to the reduction of bureaucracy in the administration, particularly in simple matters», thus enhancing «a more interactive and transparent relationship between the City Council and the citizen», says the municipality, in a press release.

«I believe that, in this way, we are contributing to a more active and full citizenship, which also represents a significant improvement in the quality of life of our citizens», declared Filomena Sintra, vice president and councilor for Administrative and Information Technology Modernization .

Requests such as placing signage, school transport, opening agricultural paths, collecting monos or collecting animals are some of the services available on the portal.

In addition to making requests and requests, the portal also allows you to monitor how the process is taking place, which is a commitment to the modernization of municipal services, "a need that was accentuated with the Covid-19 pandemic", explains the municipality.

The portal has a Public Access area, where authentication is not required and where citizens can consult information about the services provided, including instructional documents to be attached, applicable fees, legislation, among others.

This portal also has a Reserved Access, with necessary authentication, where interested parties can access specific information regarding personal processes, as well as submit the forms made available electronically.

The municipality's new initiative is part of the approved application, under the CRESC Algarve 2020 Operational Program.
