Promoting a greater approximation of the population to the work of the municipality is the main objective of a new mobile application, available for Android, launched by Câmara de Lagoa and that it will, for example, publicize events and provide municipal information.
«This application was developed over two months by two technicians from the Municipality and will be another important tool available to the population. Updated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with fast and real-time coverage, it allows, through the Menu, to search the Municipal Library catalogue, submit an event in SmartCity and, soon, it will also allow removing a password for assistance at the Counter Unique and consult the occupation of our beaches», says the municipality.
The improvement « of this application will be constant, but in this launch phase, Online Services, Online Passwords, SmartCity – Events, Online Library Catalog, Useful Contacts, Videos of the Municipality published on Youtube, are already available in the initial menu, as well like all municipal news and notices».
To access the Online Services and online passwords, as well as access the SmartCity – Events service, the user must be registered, as is already the case on the Municipality's website.
“It is very important that we maintain proximity with the population, adapt and create more communication channels between the Municipality and citizens. The covid-19 pandemic brought us distance and embarrassment. This application brings greater convenience to everyone. Now I appeal for them to download and use it», appeals Luís Encarnação, Mayor of Lagoa.
