From the 28th to the 30th of May, the Festival da Caldeirada e do Mar returns to 16 restaurants in Armação de Pêra.
The Grill, Nautical Art, Cantinho do Petisco, Barbecue Balbino, Barbecue Casarão, Starfish, Holiday Inn Algarve, Marisqueira Hera, Metropolis, O Fernando, O Pelintra, Olivalmar, Beach with Seasoning, Rocha da Palha, Serol and Silvense these are the establishments participating in this edition and that will present «diverse and delicious gastronomic proposals», says the Chamber of Silves.
«Promoting the identity, tradition and flavors of the sea continue to be one of the great bets of the Municipality of Silves, differentiating aspects that make this Festival of Caldeirada e do Mar a unique event not to be missed», says Rosa Palma, president of the Chamber of Silves.
"I consider it extremely important to value the products of our county, from the mountains to the sea, so that they are known through various events and that, simultaneously, the local economic activity can also benefit from this promotion, which is that of our history, our territory and that of our people», reinforces the mayor.
The gastronomic aspect of this event will also be joined by the entertainment in the participating restaurants, with the Academic Duo Sons do Algarve – Mauro and Jorge. The entertainment will take place on the 28th of May, between 19:30 pm and 22:30 pm, and on the 29th and 30th of May, from 12:30 pm to 15:30 pm and from 19:30 pm to 22:30 pm.
Organized by the Municipality of Silves, the event has the support of the Parish Council of Armação de Pêra and the Fishermen's Association of Armação de Pêra.
