The fado singer Joana Amendoeira will give a concert in tribute to Amália Rodrigues on the 22nd of May, at 18:30 pm, at Forte do Beliche, in Sagres.
In this show “Amália- A Alma do Fado”, promoted by the Municipality of Vila do Bispo, Joana Amendoeira will look back over more than 50 years of Amália's career, giving voice to her great classics, from her art in cinema and theater, the great international successes, as well as its connection to the folklore and marches of Lisbon.
This concert, which will be broadcast live on Facebook and Youtube of the Municipality, is a tribute to the great fado diva, Amália Rodrigues, in the year in which her centenary is celebrated.
