“Bezaranha” is in the “transition phase” for live shows

This face-to-face regime is "long awaited"

O “Bezaranha” cultural program it is in a «transition phase» in which it is expected that, in the coming weeks, the public will be «present in the places where the shows take place», all over the Algarve.

This presence regime is "long awaited", being a "reason of satisfaction for both promoters and for the artists themselves who yearn for the proximity that culture provides".

The program, which brings together around 200 events and initiatives and which promises to reach all the Algarve's municipalities, will contribute to supporting local artists in each municipality. The project is expected to support more than 700 artists and other professionals in the cultural sector.

Music with Viviane and Tó Viegas, Pedro Joia Trio with accordionist João Frade, Theatre, Fado Gala, a Performing Arts Show, and many other artists and initiatives, have already been through “Bezaranha”.

This Saturday, the 15th, the first of three sessions of the “Danças do Guadiana” initiative will be presented, which will bring together, throughout the month, schools and companies from the municipality of Vila Real de Santo António.

This is the first time that a networked cultural programming model brings together the Intermunicipal Community of the Algarve (AMAL), the 16 municipalities and the Regional Directorate of Culture to implement a joint project in the area of culture.

The Algarve – Cultural Networking Program project results from an application submitted by AMAL – Algarve Intermunicipal Community, under the Algarve Regional Operational Program (CRESC Algarve 2020), approved on December 30, 2020. The total investment of the project is 800 thousand euros, financed by PO CRESC ALGARVE 2020 and by the ERDF- European Regional Development Fund.

The shows have been broadcast live on the Facebook page of the promoting municipalities and on Bezaranha's own.
