João Garcia is the PSD candidate for the Chamber of Silves

Candidate of the PSD is the current president of the Association of Irrigants and Beneficiaries of Silves, Lagoa and Portimão

João Garcia is the PSD candidate for the Silves Chamber, announced this Wednesday, April 7, the secretary general José Silvano, at a press conference.

The Social Democratic candidate is the current president of the Association of Irrigants and Beneficiaries of Silves, Lagoa and Portimão.

João Carlos Saião Rodrigues Garcia is a farmer, agronomist, technician at the Silves Chamber and one of the owners of Quinta de Santo Estêvão, which produces citrus fruit and also hosts parties.

At today's press conference, José Silvano also announced the candidacy of Rui André, mayor of Monchique, for the Portimão Chamber.

With today's announcements, the 16 PSD candidates for the Algarve Municipal Councils are already known.

They are: Hélder Cabrita (Aljezur), Paula Freitas (Vila do Bispo), Pedro Moreira (Lagos), Bruno Estremores (Monchique), Rui André (Portimão), Mário Vieira (Lagoa), José Carlos Rolo (Albufeira), João Garcia (Silves), Rui Cristina (Loulé), Bruno Sousa Costa (São Brás de Alportel), Rogério Bacalhau (Faro), Álvaro Viegas (Olhão), Dinis Faísca (Tavira), Francisco Amaral (Castro Marim), Carlos Ludovico (Alcoutim) and Luís Gomes (Vila Real de Santo António).
