160 kilos of fish seized as a result of fleeing the auction in Portimão

Two people have been identified

160 kg of fish, such as spider crab (maja squinado), cuttlefish (sepiid) and trembles (common torpedo), were seized this Monday, April 12, for fleeing the auction in Portimão. 

«During a surveillance and inspection action under the legal regime of the first sale of fresh fish, the Guard soldiers detected, at the auction in Portimão, two men who were transporting the fish, namely 117,7 kilos of spider crab, 43,4 kilos of cuttlefish and two kilos of tremble, from a vessel to a vehicle, outside the auction area», says the GNR.

The fish was seized «on suspicion of not having been subject to the first sale regime (escape from the auction), the two individuals were identified and the respective administrative offense was prepared, and the fish was transported to the auction in Portimão for submission. the first sale at auction'.
