The Secretary of State for Housing will be at the Câmara de Tavira tomorrow, the 10th, at 11:00 am, to participate in the ratification ceremony of the collaboration agreement within the scope of the Support Program for Access to Housing – 1st Right, which will allow the municipality have access to funds managed by the Institute of Housing and Urban Rehabilitation (IHRU).
The agreement opens the door to new housing solutions and "aimed at helping households living in inadequate conditions," according to the Câmara de Tavira.
The session, which in addition to Marina Gonçalves, will also be attended by Jorge Botelho, Secretary of State for Decentralization and Local Administration, and Ana Paula Martins, president of the Tavira Chamber, can be seen live on the council's Facebook page.
During the ceremony, the Local Housing Strategy (ELH) of Tavira will be presented, whose development is “a mandatory requirement for access to the financing lines of the 1st Law Program, within the scope of promoting housing solutions for people living in unworthy conditions and without the financial capacity to support the cost of access to adequate housing».
