São Brás de Alportel supports ACES Central with IT equipment for the Public Health Service

Equipment intended for the management of the epidemiological situation in the municipality, as well as for the processing of data

This Thursday, March 4, the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel delivered computer and internet access equipment to the Central Algarve Group of Health Centers (ACES), intended for the Local Public Health service, announced the municipality.

The equipment now provided will be used at the São Brás Health Center and will facilitate the flow of information and online contacts necessary for the management of the epidemiological situation in the municipality, as well as for the processing of data.

It is “an investment in the health of the entire community, through the improvement of the working conditions of professionals” in that sector and which is part of the partnership between that City Council and the Regional Health Administration.

“In the context of the current pandemic context and given the restrictions on face-to-face contacts, access to digital media has become essential for the functioning of services”, stresses the municipality.

The equipment will be a “contribution to streamlining the processes of this common mission to safeguard the population”, he concludes.
