Café com Letras is going to “put the scoop” on the topic of domestic violence, in a conversation that will take place through the Zoom Colibri platform, scheduled for March 19, at 18:30 pm.
The session “Women and domestic violence: the culture put the spoon” will have as guests Mónica Pereira, Master in Social Education from the University of Algarve (UAlg) and Ana Borges, choreographer of the “Corpo de Hoje Associação Cultural”. The moderation will be in charge of Adriana Nogueira regional director of Culture of the Algarve.
“Domestic violence is one of the most serious forms of discrimination against women, a reflection of persistent gender stereotypes and unequal power relations. Domestic violence impacts directly involved victims, families and society as a whole», framed the UAlg library.
“Café com Letras” is an initiative organized jointly by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, the UAlg library and the FNAC, with the support of Rádio Universidade do Algarve (RUA FM).
The get-together on the 19th will be held later available on the FNAC website.
