AMAL participates in the launch webinar of the project “Accelerathon Spain-Portugal”

Entrepreneurs, research organizations, public and private entities, SMEs, startups and universities are the target audience

The Algarve Intermunicipal Community (AMAL) participates, on March 9th, in the webinar to launch the project “Accelerathon Spain-Portugal: a new opportunity to boost innovation and cooperation against Covid-19 and climate change”.

The main objective of the initiative, organized by the Finnova Foundation, is to launch the challenge to present innovative and collaborative proposals from public and private entities applicable to the Euroregion Alentejo-Algarve-Andalusia (AAA), which can be put into practice, both during the pandemic , as when it ends, to solve environmental and social challenges caused by Covid-19 and climate change.

The event, which will take place between 16 pm and 18 pm, is co-financed by the Ministry of Presidency, Public Administration and Interior of the Regional Government of Andalusia. Experts and representatives from the AAA Euroregion will participate.

All those interested in participating must submit a proposal (Abstract Form) in accordance with the established requirements, before April 19th. In the end, the three winning proposals will be chosen.

The target audience is entrepreneurs, research organizations, public and private entities, SMEs, startups and universities.

The Algarve Intermunicipal Community will be part of the jury of this initiative, being represented by the technician Pedro Chaves, responsible for the Intermunicipal Forestry Technical Office.
