The City Council of Aljezur will allocate, throughout this year, a total of 260 thousand euros, distributed among the four parishes of the municipality.
According to the municipality, "the principles of equality, non-discrimination, transparency, participation and the need and sufficiency of resources were ensured among all parishes."
Thus, in addition to the delegation of powers and execution agreements, this year a financial reinforcement package is reserved, in the total amount of 260 thousand euros, to be distributed among the 4 parishes, giving 65 thousand euros to each one.
The Parish Council of Aljezur, in a first phase, has already allocated 65 thousand euros «for the construction of a warehouse, to store its equipment and create better conditions for its workers».
In this first phase, 15 thousand euros were transferred to the Junta de Bordeira, destined for «gardening arrangements, continuing the work of beautification in the various places that has been developed».
As for the Parish of Odeceixe, 50 thousand euros have already been allocated for the renovation and expansion of the joint warehouse facilities, allowing for improvements in the facilities for staff, as well as support of 10 thousand euros for intervention in the garden spaces of the Odeceixe Variant and gym equipment”.
Finally, 10 thousand euros will be transferred to the Junta do Rogil, for the purchase of a vehicle, as well as support of 14 thousand euros, to complete the project of a new building for the junta.
