The paving work for the 1,5-kilometer link between Ribeira Baixa and Ribeira Alta, in the parish of Algoz, has already been completed.
According to the Municipality of Silves, "the paving of the road in bituminous included the construction of the rainwater drainage network and hydraulic passages, in addition to the installation of signaling and safety equipment".
The investment in this work is 120 thousand euros.
In a note sent to the editorial offices, the Municipality of Silves emphasizes that «this work, among many others similar, already completed or nearing completion, is part of the strategic guideline of the Municipality of Silves to proceed with the rehabilitation and requalification of the extensive road network in the entire county, naturally, implemented gradually, optimizing available financial resources and prioritizing investments, meeting the objective of improving the well-being and mobility conditions of populations, as well as raising the levels of competitiveness in the territory».
