Supplying Market of Faro ends 2020 with a positive result

Public company that manages MARF speaks in confirmation of success

The Supply Market of the Region of Faro (MARF) ended the fourth quarter of 2020 with a net profit of 538,9 thousand euros, which corresponds to «a 4,5% return on equity and a net margin on operating income of 34%».

«The numbers now presented confirm the success of this public company with positive operating margins of 63,3% and 43,7%, at the level of EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization), which amounted to one million euros, and EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes), which is more than 708 thousand euros”, according to MARF managers.

"We also highlight the continuation of the debt reduction to the European Investment Bank, which continues to be one of the objectives, with its total liquidation expected in 2021", they add.

The Supply Market of the Region of Faro «it is a public company that joins the SIMAB group, from Papública, and the City Council of Faro, bringing together around a hundred operators in an area corresponding to 32 football fields”.
