Farense drew 0-0 with Famalicão, in a game played in this Minho city for the 21st round of the I League. This was the second straight draw for the Algarve and the third in a row to score – and without losing.

Farense started the game better and had more ball and some leverage over the opponent.

However, attacks with submissions were scarce and there was no clear opportunity for a goal for either team.

Suffice it to say that there was only one shot framed in the first 45 minutes, by a player from Famalicão.

Thus, it was natural that the teams went to the locker rooms tied at zero.

In the second half, he started the match better and showed that he wanted to reach goal. And he arrived at the opposing area in the first few minutes, but without being able to define the plays in the best way.

However, things quickly got complicated, with the sending off of the Algarve defender André Pinto, who got his second yellow card in the 50th minute and left Farense playing with ten.

Still, it returned to being the team of Faro causing danger, in the 59th minute, in a good move by Gauld, who shot against the legs of a defender. The ball fell to Licá, who shot across, not far from the goal.

In numerical advantage, Famalicão was also more dangerous in attack and created good opportunities.

Farense, on the other hand, accused the fact of playing with ten and moved back lines.

At 83, at a time when Famalicão clearly dominated the game, Licá fled the defense of the Minho team, but fired slightly close to the goal.

This turned out to be the best opportunity of the game, which soon ended, with a null score.

With this result, Farense remains in the 14th position of the I Liga, with 19 points, when 21 rounds have been played.

Next week, the Lions of Faro go to Vila do Conde to play with Rio Ave.
