The Minister of Education, Tiago Brandão Rodrigues, says that the schools will have to be one of the first infrastructures to reopen as soon as there are conditions to be suspicious, because nothing has replaced classroom teaching.
"Schools were the last to close and must be the first infrastructure to open, starting with the youngest, who have more difficulties in dealing with technological means", said the Minister of Education, Tiago Brandão Rodrigues, without committing to a date of reopening of educational establishments.
“We cannot normalize and overvalue distance learning”, said Brandão Rodrigues, in statements at the “TSF Forum”, this Monday morning, when around 1,5 million students return to classes, online only, after 15 days on vacation.
