The Chamber of Castro Marim unanimously approved the exemption from fixed water and sanitation tariffs for companies and individual entrepreneurs.
In total, this measure represents support of around 50 thousand euros.
"Can benefit from this support companies [non-domestic users] that have closed establishments under the legal statute in force or those whose activity has been affected, susceptible of being verified by proven layoff or through income declaration", says the Chamber of Castro Marim.
To access this support, which lasts until the 30th of June, users must fill in the application (available here) and send preferably by email to [email protected].
Private social solidarity institutions and other non-profit associations are also covered by the measure, however, they do not need to make any request, since the municipal services process this change.
