Parchal: Man ran away from the police, threw drugs through the window...but ended up in detention

In total, 400 doses of hash were seized

A 36-year-old man, who tried to escape from the police and threw drugs through his car window, was arrested this Friday, January 22, in Parchal (Lagoa).

According to GNR, it all started with a stop operation. There, the military tried to board a vehicle, but the driver disobeyed and fled.

"During the escape, the suspect threw two objects through the window that collided with a vehicle that was parked on the public road," says the GNR.

The man was eventually intercepted moments later and, when the military returned to the place where the objects had been thrown, they saw that it was a drug.

In total, 400 doses of hashish, 276 euros, a mobile phone and the car were seized.

The detainee, after being present at the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action (DIAP) of Portimão, on Saturday, 23 January, was subject to a term of identity and residence.
