The works to improve energy efficiency and rehabilitate the salt water tanks at the Rio Arade fishing port, located between Portimão and Ferragudo, have already been awarded by Docapesca.
The intervention will have a global cost of 90 thousand euros.
To improve energy efficiency, "18 luminaires and 34 projectors will be replaced by LED equipment", for a value of 56.260 euros.
“With this change to LED, the installed power is reduced by 61 percent, allowing for environmental gains and a lower energy bill”, according to Docapesca.
The contract for the rehabilitation of the saltwater tanks at this fishing port will cost 33.792 euros.
