The Levante Market, which usually takes place on Saturdays in the temporary premises of the car park at the Pavilhão Municipal de Lagos, has changed its opening days to this festive season.
Thus, the Market will be open on Christmas and New Year's Eve (24th and 31st December – Thursday), between 7:00 am and 14:00 pm, in the same place, on December 26th and January 2nd (Saturday) will be closed.
«With a rich history full of tradition, the Levante Market was created in 1974 to help small agricultural producers to sell their products and supplement their family income. Every Saturday, the Market attracts residents and visitors in search of healthy, fresh and organic products, straight from the producer», says Câmara de Lagos.
In a period of pandemic, to guarantee all the safety conditions for the community, this market has been held in the temporary premises in the car park of the Pavilhão Municipal de Lagos.
