Starting this Monday, the Parish Council of Portimão will deliver Christmas hampers to around 600 needy households.
According to the municipality, "this year and for reasons of public health and safety, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the hampers will be delivered at the premises of the Parish Council of Portimão to previously registered households."
This initiative, according to the Parish Council of Portimão, "aims to alleviate the financial difficulties of many needy families in the parish, especially during the Christmas season."
