IP launches a 5,8 M€ tender for electrification contracts for the Algarve Line

IP launches tender for the provision of Management, Coordination, Inspection and Safety Coordination Services on site, in the Algarve Line's electrification contracts

The company Infraestruturas de Portugal published in Diário da República, on the 30th of November, the Public Tender for the acquisition of the Management, Coordination, Supervision and Coordination Services of Work Safety, for several contracts to be carried out within the scope of the Modernization project of the Algarve Line.

With a base price of 5,8 million euros, the tender aims at the acquisition of complementary services essential for the integral electrification works of the Algarve Line, namely the works on the Tunes/Lagos and sections. Faro/Vila Real de Santo António, for the design/construction of the expansion of the Tunis substation and the design/construction of the Olhão substation, as well as the contracts for complementary works in signaling and telecommunications, for example, in Railway Telematics, Videomonitoring and Telecommand .

The contracting and provision of Management, Coordination, Inspection and Safety Coordination Services will be carried out and coordinated with the execution of the contracts.

The tender is now at the stage of receiving proposals.
