To end the chapter on companies, we now draw your attention to the need and advantage of having our company certified by IAPMEI (Institute for Supporting Small and Medium Enterprises and Innovation), with regard to SME certification (micro, small or medium enterprise).
In order for this certification to be possible, it must follow the criteria defined in European legislation – Commission Recommendation of 6 May 2003. We would like to highlight, from now on, the number of employees in the company, the turnover and the total balance sheet.

We give a typical example of a company with two partners, who, in addition to this, are also partners in other companies, one of them being a sole proprietor.
So, what happens here is that all the relevant information from the other companies must also be entered in order to complete the form, as well as the identification of all the remaining partners of the other companies.
